International students can practice English, immerse themselves in American culture, travel to major cities in the U.S., develop leadership skills, and make lifelong friends from around the world. Situated just minutes away from Washington, D.C., our camp programs offer the perfect location for access to the cultural and learning resources of our nation’s capital. Our programs are tailored for students from ages 8 to 18 looking for an opportunity to be immersed in America's culture while learning English.

Each school campus offers a complete independent school experience. Students have access to academic, athletic, and living spaces, while also enjoying access to libraries, laboratories, beautiful facilities, and spacious grounds of the campus for a true US high school experience

Highland American Summer Day Camp for students ages 8-14 offers students an immersion experience in a traditional American day camp. We hope your child is ready to run, dance, laugh, and most importantly, grow!  In addition to language building programs, Highland American Day Camp provide campers with traditional, age-appropriate camp activities and field trips. This program provides an assortment of fun activities that are sure to keep your child on the move! Our counselors serve up daily adventures where campers are taught social, intellectual, physical and creative skills. Our energized counselors and fun-blasted activities combine to strengthen confidence and develop skills in every camper.

Summer Day Camp Program

 An opportunity for international students, ages 15 - 18, to immerse themselves in American academic and cultural experience. Students develop leadership skills and preparation for university process in U.S. Includes cultural activities, daily excursions, and English-language practice. Itinerary is customized for each group to meet student group goals.


A Day in the Life - generally, the morning session is broken into two meetings separated by a ten-minute break. Meeting times vary based on goals. During the midday period, students can eat lunch, do homework, use the gym, explore the city, relax with friends, and participate in a variety of organized workshops, including athletics, arts and crafts, panels on college admissions, community outreach projects, special interest clubs, board games, video games, trips to local restaurants, and mini field trips. Students participate in organized activities both on campus and in Washington, DC, Baltimore and Annapolis
